The birth of a child is one of life's most precious gifts. We share your joy. The Baptism of infants and children is celebrated at St John's during our worship service on the four principal baptismal days during the year:

The Baptism of the Lord (January)

The Great Vigil of Easter and Easter Day (March or April)

The Day of Pentecost (May or June)

All Saints (1st Sunday in November)

Baptismal Preparation and active participation is expected.

Adult Baptism

Adult Baptisms are usually scheduled once a year at the Great Vigil of Easter. Preparation usually begins in the fall with a special program called the Catechumenate.
